FULLY FUNDED — Student Research Project at Cincinnati Zoo

Kathryn Kalafut, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Psychology

In collaboration with the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden and under the supervision of Professor Kathryn Kalafut, we are asking for funds to allow a student to conduct behavioral research with two nocturnal species; the Sand Cat and Caracal.

The goal of the behavioral research is to evaluate the behavioral effects of an interactive feeder. This knowledge will show whether this new type of feeder can increase species typical behaviors, and allow the zoo to make evidence-based decisions regarding the current and future beneficial additions to their habitats.

$600.00 raised. Thank you!
